Karen Bass will hold a telephone town hall tomorrow, Tuesday, May 8, 2012, to speak directly to voters about critical issues facing Los Angeles including Democrats work to block Republicans' repeated attempts to eliminate critical safety net programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and other services for low-income families;  the Obama Administration's $25 billion agreement to address mortgage loan servicing and foreclosure abuses; and an update on Congress' progress to prevent student loan interest rates from increasing in July
