On April 4th, Speaker Emertius Bass was honored to participate in the 7th Annual Thai New Year Songkran Festival in historic Thai Town. Taking in traditional Thai music, culture, and food, the Speaker Emeritus spoke to the crowd and presented a  solution from the State Assembly commemorating the occasion. She spent the rest of the afternoon speaking with attendees
about their neighborhood and addressing issues of importance to them.
